WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
HomeCare Assistants of the North Shore provides high-quality personal care services for individuals who need support, whether their home is an apartment, house, nursing home, or assisted living facility. The services of our well-trained home health aides and companions are available as needed -- occasionally, daily, weekly, or round-the-clock.
Our staff can prepare meals, escort older adults for shopping or appointments, remind patients about medication, provide help with bathing or dressing or simply provide companionship for the individual and respite for the caregiver and family. Additionally, HomeCare Assistants can be retained to supplement hospice or home health care services.
Established in 1998, HomeCare Assistants of the North Shore, LLC is a joint venture with RespiteCare, Inc. and a subsidiary of Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter, a nonprofit, community-based healthcare organization.
NURSE CARE MANAGERS
A unique and important feature of the HomeCare Assistants of the North Shore program, a nurse care manager meets initially with the individual and family to develop a plan designed to meet their unique needs. The care manager stays involved, overseeing the care and periodically re-assessing the patient's changing healthcare and personal needs.
